E*Trade has partnered with Holiday Inn to offer a Free Palm IIIe. You have to open a new E*Trade account with a minimum of $1000. and visit a Holiday Inn Select, visit not stay overnight.

I looked at the site but didn't see any requirement to visit a holiday inn. Where is that condition?

The print advertisement I saw the deal in said you had to 'visit, no overnight stay required', however searching the link I can find nothing that says you have to go to the Holiday Inn at all. Even better .

Did anyone do this deal? I did it a couple days ago. I didn't get any indication that I'm getting a Palm. Personally, I would like to see big flashing lights and something that says "Yes, You Are Getting A Free Palm IIIe!!!". Well, an e-mail would be nice, anyway.

I later noticed on e-trade's home page, there's a link to get a free Palm with a $1000 account. I guess I didn't have to mess around with Holiday Inn.

I opened an Etrade account about two weeks ago and then inquired about the Palm. At first I got a reply back saying that they were not aware of any Palm promotion. I then promptly sent an email stating that my main reason for opening an account was to get the Palm. The next day I received an email saying that my account was coded for the free Palm. So all I gotta do now is wait.
