Is anyone else bothered by the link to this deal posted today? How many people will answer "yes" to the qualification question:
"Are you the person directly responsible for managing the data backup, archive, and recovery practices for your company?"

How many of those really are responsible or just want $10? How many of the people from here who will fill out the survey actually use tape backups?

Why would Gotapex be irresponsible enough to ruin the results of Quantum's survey by posting this?

Is this really a deal or just an opportunity to scam a company?

No scam involved and it wont ruin anything. Theres always a margin of error in these public surveys. In this case, they'll just have a bigger one =D. Plus they might not even hold up on these GC's

GotApex? is not responsible for how people answer survey questions! There may indeed be many people on this forum that ARE responsible for their company's backup systems. you have no idea. there is nothing irresponsible about publishing a company's request for input. get off your high horse. i will step off my soap box now too. cheers.

And where is the aforementioned link? Though I am not responsible for my company's backup systems, I, uh, might have some, uh, friends who would be interested. Yes, friends. That's the ticket.

the survey is over, so this is a dead issue i hope.
