Best Buy, as in the actual store, not the website.

However, I thought that it was about $16 or so, according to the ad I saw in Sunday's paper?

If it is $16 then that still is the cheapest I have seen. I went by Costco and Circuit City. Costco had it lower at 18.99, but if Best Buy has it lower I am going to go there.

This is an in store deal. It is also DVD.

I bought 2. The price is reduced at the cashier.

Just ask and you shall receive the discount? Or, do you have to mention any deal?

Grr...from the sounds of DVDTalk, the thing is dead as a doornail. Oh well, congrats, chuck, enjoy the movie. Just wish I didn't have work to get in the way of my dealfinding http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Damn... that would have been a good deal. I'll take Braveheart DVD for $10 anyday.

Detroit area BB didn't work, but even at $15 it was too good to pass.

Got my copy of BH DVD today at Electronics Boutique. Did the 2 DVD swap deal.
I thought it was going to be a 2-DVD special collector's edition... oh well...

I think you can get a $10 store credit for each DVD you turn in. Of course, they only take major studio movies. Not sure if you can still do the BH DVD trade-in, now that it's been released. Might want to call your local EB just to check.

Cheers.

I asked one of the sale reps on the floor to ask if they were a limit per customer. he said, "no, we just want to get rid of them."

at my BB, there was a sign on the rack saying the price will be discounted at the cashier. it rang up at the cashier for $9.99.

good luck at your local BB.

Mine came up at 15.99. I was walking towards the counter with it in my hand, and a grizzled woman that worked there, saw it and told me that she could check me out. Before she even scaned it she said that'll be 17 whatever it came to with tax. I think they must've fixed it in the computer or something, because she obivously knew what was up. Still cheaper than anywhere else tho.

Just a heads up, I caught on another board someone claiming that BestBuy headquarters sent out a memo notifying all cashiers to adjust the price to $15.99 and that the prices would be corrected in the systems today.

Yep, Braveheart was $15.99 at Best Buy. When I asked if there was a $9.99 special the clerked looked at me as if I were on Crack. $16 is still the best price around for Braveheart!
