I know this is off-topic but

The great rebates are over:

Boise Cascade agreed to buy OfficeMax for $1.15 billion in cash and stock as part of its push into the retail side of the office-products business.

How do you figure this means the end of rebates? Usually corporate buy outs result in the end user seeing very little difference. I doubt if they are going to close stores or change the way they do business since that is what made Omax attractive to the buying company anyway. :disa:

All I said is it may be the end of the GREAT rebates-- not the end of rebates.
