Sexy popstar Christina Aguilera (http://www.itv.com/news/1515800.html) has had her latest video censored after it was considered too saucy for TV.

MTV bosses considered the original cut of Christina's new single Can't Hold Us Down too sexy for its young audience.

The raunchy star - who dressed up in leather chaps to box with another woman in the video for her song Dirrty - has slammed the decision, claiming that male rappers get away with much more in their videos.

Christina said: "It's funny. There are all those hip-hop videos where women are objectified, but when a woman does it, it's a shock. But it's something I'm proud of."

She continued: "It's not like Madonna hasn't been there before.

"It's not like you've never seen a woman who's comfortable with her sexuality and her body and with being in control of her surroundings and situation." :eek:

i haven't seen the video and i don't know what exactly was censored, but unless it was like borderline soft porn, she's got a point...

Nah, it's not even close to what you see in the uncensored versions of "Next Episode" by Dr. Dre or "How Do U Want It" by 2pac. She has made a point and she's going to win.

i just watched the video on yahoo, and i'm completely confused.

i totally do not understand what mtv is censoring. you have christina in a little pair of short shorts and a midriff-baring tube top. she's backed by a number of female dancers, dancing somewhat suggestively and dressed in tight clothes, but nothing particularly skimpy. then lil'kim comes on and she is basically wearing a bra and panties which cover her about like a typical (not small) bikini would.

WTF? :confused: i don't see objectionable stuff there. i mean, it's definitely better than most rap videos, and it's really nothing you couldn't see in the j.c. penny catalogue. i don't get it.

Didn't seem that bad, but I think it should be outlawed because the song sucks :P

Not sure if the Yahoo version is the original cut, but the video wasn't saucy at all... Besides the fact that her boobs look bigger like she got the Britney Special (nothing wrong with that) it was weak in the steamy area.
