The Volvo certificate indicates that the form has to be "notarized" by the dealer whatever notarized means. All the dealer did was stamp the form with one of those self-inking address stamps. The salesperson told me that was the stamp they used for free test drive so I hope that was the correct one.

Well at 830AM I started at the dealers to have them sign vouchers for test drives - again they signed all 4 without having to take a drive. - just looked at the vehicle and took a brochure.

VOLVO - $100 GC for Orvis
ISUZU Trooper - $50 GC for REI
Saturn L series- $25 GC for Borders
Olds Silhouette - $50 GC for BlockBusters

$225 in GC's for 75 minutes of my time - AND a free Saturn hat.

Well, for you folks that have done these test drive deals...what's the story? DO they care that you seem to be only there for the GC? I'm thinkin' about doing this, even though the Orvis store sells stuff that'd make you look like a freakin' lumberjack, a well paid lumberjack, but a lumberjack nonetheless. Thoughts or comments> Anyone NOT get it signed because you were there for the GC?

My dad did the testdrive for GMC that was for $100 @ CDNOW. He went to the dealer that he got his truck from, but the guy just signed the paper. So, my dad didn't even have to test drive. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

I see the link for Volvo but how about the other 3?
