I have read the series and I think they are great. Unfortunately, it's getting a little long! I think the latest book was #7, and they're only half way through the tribulation! I usually buy them the day they are relased at Sam's Club where they're only $12 in hardcover.

It's really a good story, I would recommend them to anyone.

You are right, it is going a bit too slow. And I wasnt too keen on the fact that the first half of the book is spent going over the "storyline". But I am still hooked.
I have found it to be an effective tool in witnessing. Let the book speak for itself, and then use it as an opportunity to chat with folks if they want to after.
I hear they are making a movie. Should be interesting.
