I seem to remember someone here posting pics of their first attempt at homemade funiture, so I thought I share mine as well.

I give you "THE TOWER OF POWER!" This is a shelving unit I designed and built to hold my large (and kind of sad) collection of video game consoles.

Top to bottom we have,

Xbox
Gamecube
PS2
Dreamcast
N64
PS1
Saturn
Genesis/32X
SNES
NES

And the best part is they're all hooked up and ready to go so I can play any of my systems whenever the mood strikes me.

And in case you were wondering, yes, I am a hit with the ladies. :toxic:

Very nice, but where's the ATARI 2600?
That should be set at the top!

Wow... props! That's a rare find these days. Are all of these from when they were big? Or did you go out and pick them up cheap recently?

THe ultimate would be if you can build a MAME cabinet like this:
MAME Cabinet (http://cmdrtaco.net/jubei/details.shtml)

Another MAME Cabinet Project (http://home.comcast.net/~nbreeden2/)

The NES was a recent purchase. I foolishly sold my first one to help pay for my Genesis way back when. Everything else was purchased when they were originally released.

where's your intelivision?

the amazing thing if the NES still worked without having to blow on the game, then tapping it on your thigh...yea, you know what i'm talking about...

Nice to see someone else representin' with a Saturn other than myself...:thumb:

I have a nice setup as well, no cam though sorry -
but I've got a switch modded US Saturn with a ton of import games, a US Dreamcast chip modded (did it myself) with a ton of import games, a US PsOne chip modded (again, done by me) with some games, a US Ps2 with some US games, a US Xbox with some US games, a US Gamecube with some US games (although Animal Crossing is the only one that counts!!! :D), a Japanese Gameboy Advance with a bunch of Japanese games plus a US version of Castlevania: COTM...

don't have the older old school stuff but then again that's what emulators are for ;) less space :hihi:

Is there a reason that this is not in the games forum?
