View Full Version : So, I've been hanging with mygrrrl's friends, right?
Right. They've become my friends too, which I'm very happy about. I've made dinner a few times with them, lunches, etc. Well. Tomorrow night, I'm going over to make dinner with one of them again. And... guess who's coming with me? :D

have a good time. the night is planned out well  It was cool when I called her up. I asked her if she had plans Friday night. She said No. I asked her if she wanted to join us. She said Yes. I told her I'd pick her up at 5:30. She said Ok.
Which of course means I get to take her home, too ;)

HAHA...I'm just trying to lighten up the mood.
Being nervous, makes you act serious, which in turn makes you look boring.

Ok, sorry man, but I missed an episode or two. Could you fill me in on who you're currently dating?
Oh, and good luck. Cooking is always good for the ladies!

Oh, and good luck. Cooking is always good for the ladies! Let's see... Much drama and bad vibes with mygrrrl recently. We didn't speak for a while, but things seem to be getting back on track, though I really doubt we'll date anymore. Her friends made it clear to me that they're my friends too, and they know how mygrrrl can be with guys.
Angeleyes is no longer living with her bf (he, like mygrrrl, has communication issues, and angeleyes, like me, is not a mind reader). She moved into her own place about a month ago. That as much as I know about that - she's been seriously busy with school and splitting her work time between two labs, and we haven't been in touch much since she moved. Which is even more encouraging that she said Yes about Friday... ;)
So, I'm not really dating anyone at the moment, but I may finally have the chance with angeleyes that I've been waiting for.

Just give up all hope with this mygrrrrrrrrrrrl icequeen and hop on the angeleyes, ok? Oh and be forewarned: you'll be the rebound from angeleye's hopefully soon-to-be ex-bf. You should be ready for that drama.

You should be ready for that drama. I have. There's a LOT of sh\t that we'd have to work out to my satisfaction before I'd consider dating her again. She probably feels the same way, but she'll never tell me that. See the problem?
As for being rebound guy - yeah, that's on my mind. One thing is in my favor though - her biggest gripe about her BF is that he doesn't communicate, and that's a strength of mine. While I'm sure we'll have our own unique issues (assuming we end up together), communication shouldn't be one of them.

Women gripe about this a lot. But I wouldn't take it too seriously. IMO, they would rather deal with a silent man than an overly talkative guy.
They always have their girlfriends to talk to anyway.
I am convinced that they want an attentive listener more than someone who spills their guts.
