Ok, long details, but let me just summarize.

3 years ago, we had an "incident" at a local airport where a bunch of cops ran off a bunch of sportbikers wheeling down the runway (small airport, no tower, closed at night).

our motorcycle club got all the blame, even though we had nothing to do with it, and only two of our members were actually even there.

now, three years later after working hard to put that bad publicity in the past and let it fade from memory, a local news station is trying to screw us...

they're running a "Maniacs on Motorcycles" clip at 10pm tonight, and using 3 or 4 year old video (not pertaining to the airport) of a guy doing a wheelie, and then skiing behind his back down the highway.

They're obviously casting us all in a bad light - they're going to group all sport bikers together, on top of using our video w/o our permission to make us look bad.

truth is, some guys still wheelie down the highway, but the rest of us have either taken it to secluded parking lots, or to the race track. We're working hard to move things in this direction (safe stunting / racing at race tracks etc) and now the news is going to screw all our efforts up.

we hosted a free controlled sport bike stunt show (first ever in this state) and the news wouldnt come out and do anything on that because it was obviously the good side of things and wouldn't get them ratings... they ignore all teh good stuff were doing and are trying to crucify us for stuff we did years ago.

is there anything we can do?

maybe pitch a different and better angle to another news channel and get them to make the other channel look stupid?

anything we can do about them using our video w/o our permision?
