SS: Lost my Axim

Yesterday I was sitting at my desk at work & reached for my Axim only to discover it wasn't there. I started thinking back to the last place I had it, and realized that oh, sh*t, I had it in the bathroom earlier (hey, the games pass the time :P ). Must have left it on the counter.

Anyway, that was several hours earlier so of course it was gone when I checked. I sent out an e-mail to everyone but no one has returned it. Now, of course it's my own dang fault for leaving it in there, but I'm pretty disappointed that most likely someone I work with now has it & is not giving it up.

Could it have been turned in to security or something like that? That would be the first thing I would think of checking.

Unfortunately, there's no security or reception for the building. It's only my company & one other. I posted a note on the wall in case someone from the other company happened to pick it up, but we're on the opposite side of the building from them so odds are pretty good that it was a co-worker.

That truly sucks that one of your co-workers would just take it and not try to figure out who it belonged to. Is it possible that a janitor or someone else there might have picked it up? I am just trying to think of alternatives to the idea that a co-worker would steal it. Not that the idea is that preposterous, just because in a close working environment it would be damn stupid to do so.

No, checked with the cleaning staff & no one saw it. I'll report it stolen to Dell so at least they can't use the warranty.

Ah, well. I really hope the Viewsonic deal (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=60846) comes through now!
