This week Bestbuy is offering 512 MB of 2100 DDR RAM for $40, after mail in rebates and they also have a maxtor 160 GB 7200 RPM hard drive for $99 after rebates

Is it just me or does a $105 Instant Rebate on the memory seem wrong.

I plan on heading to Best Buy.

even better, best buy has (or had) 256 of Kingston HyperX PC3500 (model KHX3500) for $50.00 ... higher quality and faster RAM, it has some good reviews on the web (search yahoo "khx3500 review")
