Best gaming card out. Good for music too, although most rank the M-Audio Revolution 7.1 higher.

I got this card yesterday and I did a price match from Frys Electronics (Check your local ads that came out on Friday) for $99.99. Total price after rebate is $49.99...not bad for this card :cool:

It doesn't invalidate it... The rebate form prints out at the cash register. I have sent in rebates before with items that have been price matched and have received them.

when you send rebates in, how hard do rebate companies check on the order?

like officemax usually has 2 rebates (one OM rebate and one Manufacturer rebate) ... so, the OM rebate NEEDS the COPY of the UPC.



what if you made a copy of the UPC and sent in an OM rebate, then returned the unopened package, think it'd clear??

$80 AR for the retail Audigy 2 is too good to resist. The lowest price I found on pricewatch is $69 for OEM. I'm going to Best Buy tomorrow morning. :) Anyone wants to buy my Live! Value for $15 shipped? :D

Where can i find myself a Frys Ad so i can price match? If not, can i just give them a phone number from frys to call to price match or would i need a ad? i'm in the bay area.

btw, i called frys and they said its 129.99 and there is a 30 dollar rebate which makes it 99.99... If that is so, how would i convince bestbuy to pricematch it at 99.99? or is that even possible?

arg... i called bestbuy and asked about price matching it with FRYS and they told me well we have a 50$ rebate on ours and it will make it cheaper then Frys at the end... i kinda of argued but decided to forget it. BB was not gonna pricematch because in the end bb after rebate will be cheaper... pretty stoopid...

but will try when i have a chance.

I just went to the store and brought the ad and showed it to the cashier. She accepted it without any questions.

That's a pretty lame excuse... You should go to the store and force them to give you that price match ;) if they give you that lame excuse about the rebate then argue with them to subtract that $50 rebate from your purchase.
