Good New Laptops

My mom wants a laptop of her own, so I'm trying to find a user friendly cheap, and relativly good laptop. I'm thinking dell, but I dunno. I need something reliable, cause she breaks all sorts of stuff. Any Ideas?

Thanks, my mom will appreciate that I'm sure. She's been eyeing a toshiba that is on sale at Circut City, but I know their service record isn't the best so I've been looking around a bit.
