OT - MIR Question

Sorry for posting this here but I figured the guys and gals who frequent this forum would know best.

I have a MIR which says it should be postmarked within 10 days of purchase. I mailed it a day late. What are my chances of getting it ?

Depends on the store. Generally, pretty good. Sometimes, the online people will screw around, that's when you go to the manager of the B/M store at 5:30pm in the busiest part of the store and complain...

Thanks for your response. This one is a manufacturer MIR - Mad dog, bought from Office Max.

I submitted an Officemax rebate a day late and was declined immediately. They may take 6-8 weeks to issue the darn check... but when they find something wrong, one of those nasty rejection postcards gets sent without delay.

I think the rebates are getting harder because they are narrowing the time window for submission.

I hope you have better luck with yours than I had with mine.

did that twice (both 2 days late) and no problem. but those were few years back when they were still generous on us !!
