People are idiots. You know these were created because someone actually did this stuff and then sued...

In case you needed further proof that the human race is doomed through stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods:

On Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping.

On a bag of Fritos: You could be a winner! No purchase nesessary. Details inside.

On a bar of Dial soap: Directions: Use like regular soap.

On some Swanson frozen dinners: Serving suggestion: Defrost.

On a hotel provided shower cap in a box: Fits one head.

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert:(printed on bottom of the box) Do not turn upside down.

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: Product will be hot after heating.

On packaging for a Rowenta iron: Do not iron clothes on body.

On Boot's Children's cough medicine: Do not drive car or operate machinery.

On Nytol sleep aid: Warning: may cause drowsiness.

On a Korean kitchen knife: Warning keep out of children.

On a string of Chinese-made Christmas lights: For indoor or outdoor use only.

On a Japanese food processor: Not to be used for the other use.

On Sainsbury's peanuts: Warning: contains nuts.

On an American Airlines packet of nuts: Instructions: open packet, eat nuts.

On a Swedish chainsaw: Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals.

On a childs superman costume: Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly.

i dont think all of these were done...the manufactures probably thought of possible situations, and put possible warning labels

and i believe dome of these, the manufactures are just having too much fun with them

actually it's funnier when they have those warning on candy packages. apparently some of the vats they use to create the candies is the same ones they use for the peanuts. therefore, they have to warn the public about the "REMOTE POSSIBLITIES" of having nuts in the candy.

btw, thanx airencracken! those really cracken me up! :bigmouth: :heh:

if you like those, check these (http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~karlh/fun/warnings.html) out (some are repeats)

this can be very serious...

i have a friend who is very allergic to penuts, and the oils from the processing can be strong enuf to cause a reaction

you see the warning on almond products

since peanuts are not actually nuts, but a legume, many people who are allergic to peanuts can eat almonds, pecan and other nuts

Reminds me of a warning I once saw in a "manual" for a toaster I bought a while ago. The fact that the thing came with manual at all blew me away, so I just had to read it. I swear it was like six pages and this was a totally basic two-slice, two-setting (like pastry & toast or something).

I poop you not, it said in big, bold print: NOT FOR USE UNDERWATER

you know, that's not a bad idea, i mean, it cuts 2 mins off my waiting for the toast. which means 2 more mins of sleep time...
