Just got back from American Wedding. I saw it with my girl using passwird's free ticket deal from Target. Anyway it wasn't that bad, I am not sure it holds up to the previous two but it is still a good movie with lots of shock value. Even with half of the cast missing I felt that the movie was good and there were some hot chicks in it.

I am just curious what others thought.

I didn't see American Pie II either but the first one is funny. Did anybody see the preview of Scary Movie 3 yet? It looked to be funny but I don't know how is it turning out to be. This time no Wayan brothers but it does have lots of guest stars including Michael Jackson.

American Wedding was pretty damn funny. The theater was not very full at all when we went. I laughed so loud at some points that I got some elbows jabbed into my side. It's definitely a must-see for fans of the series. :cool:

If you like the other two movies then this one shouldn't disappoint you at all. Go see if if you're a fan and like that kind of humor. If not it may not be for you.

The American Wedding soundtrack is very very good. It's disc one in my car cd changer ;)

i watched it about 30 minutes ago. i agree that there were a ton of funny scenes in it. however, the dialogue was VERY stiff and they seemed to have lost the magic of the first two. stiffler's character was weird in this one. i can't quite put my finger on it. instead of being cool and obnoxious he was just weird. i don't know...the interaction seemed forced to me. the gay bar dancing scene was trememdous. haven't laughed that hard in a while.

he seemed a not as naive about his nature. I didn't like the way stiffler came off in this one either.

Stifflers lines were so weird compared to the other ones. It's like he deevolved somewhere.

That's the only part of the movie that I wasn't sure about... He seemed more idiotic than funny this time. :shrug:

the dance off was weird too... it's like stiffler was just delivering lines this time... he wasn't really in character

I thought this was the funniest of the series.
And yes, something was a bit off about Stifler. He almost seemed computer generated.
