The topic says it all, but to be more detailed, I have Detonator 5.13 and the only problem I have is that, as soon as I press the Output Device tab in the advanced section of the control panel for Display, the system reboots. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/confused.gif Anyways, just wondering if there is a good enough reason for me to download the driver from Reactor Critical.

I'm using Detonator 5.13 speedracer120 with no problems. When I hit the Output Device tab I don't reboot. I have heard Detonator 5.14 isn't as good or as stable. My advice is stick with 5.13 and not hit that tab if your not having any other problems with them.

I definitely don't press that tab anymore, it just makes me wonder. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well, you're doing better than I am. As soon as I reboot (following every readme.txt's directions) when installing -any- 5.* nVidia drivers, my machine will not boot to windows after the POST. This has happened with 5.08, 5.12, 5.13, 5.14, and 5.16 detonators.

HELP!

(does anyone suspect that this is due to WinBoost deleting the contents of C:/windows/temp during bootup?)

Well Detonator 5.16 fares better on my machine than 5.13. I can actually fool around with the Output Device tab. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I wish I could answer your question but I can't http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif

Ah, nuts.

I've tried going to Elsa's site (I have an Erazor x2), but they only have the 3.* drivers there. *sigh*

I suppose I can live with my framerates as is, and then sell it to a friend at the end of the summer when prices come down a bit on the GTS and the rest of the new generation.

Anyone get their hands on a Radeon yet? *g*
