So I get this email:


Dear ramazank2,

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended because it violates the site policy outlined in the User Agreement:

eBay's services are not available to members who are currently suspended.

Our records indicate that your account is associated with the following suspended account:

deathmetal187187

eBay does not permit suspended users to register with eBay or use eBay's services under any name. eBay may extend this prohibition to accounts or user names associated with the suspended user.

Due to the suspension of this account, you are prohibited from using eBay in any way including registering a new account. Please note this suspension does not relieve you of your agreed-upon obligations to pay any fees you may owe to eBay.

I have no clue in the world what I did wrong. I have replied to them and tried to appeal but this came from no where! Anyone have any similar problems? Any help is much appreciated I have been a member of ebay since jan 99 and have 60 positive of 60 total feedback. I really dont want to lose my acount.

Check the links on that email VERY carefully. There are many fraudulent emails going around appearing to be from ebay, with links to sites that capture your ebay userid and password when you go to "check your account".

This is real since when I go to ebay not following a link from the email my acount is suspended!!!

So if you don't know how they associated you with this deathmetal guy, you might wanna email them asking how you were associated with him.

I got an email saying my account was reinstated today! But they didnt tell me why, or how this happened. I responded and asked them a few questions.
