View Full Version : Girls+Internet=Naked
I want to pose a question. What is it about the internet that makes people (not associated with the adult entertainment industry)want to get naked, take a picture or video, and show it to the whole world? I guesss this is something that I just do not understand. I know some of the basic reason as people just want to show off, some people just get off by doing it, or somebody just post there picture without permission. All I know is there has to be more to it than that. I would never do it with a bad self image and that sort of crap. It just seems since the commercialization of the internet, there has alaways been someone willing to get naked. The typical picture range from tame (topless) to the extreme (I will leave to your imagination). The topic can even be expanded such things as Spring Break, Mari Gra, or those Girls gone Wild video(if you believe those things). I mean does anyone out there know poeple like this. I know I do not. I mean I think on my part it might be a little jealousy, but on the other I just do not get it. Post your thoughts ...
Thanks...
Because the people who see it will be strangers and remain anonymous for the most part. Doesn't directly affect your environment and life. You get an honest opinion I guess and no one really ahs to find out about it.

Mostly Girls... less guys... the guys like to hang out on the VidChat channels.. and show themselves tuggin it
I see your points. I was just hoping it wwould be a little more something then exhibitionism or voyeurism. I guess I am looking for the deeper meaning and why exhibitionism or voyeurism and porn have become so big on the internet. I mean when you mention the internet porn is one of the first things to come to mind. I mean is it that it is easier for people to view and get porn without being embaressed by going into your traditional "Adult book stores". Or is is possibly since it is readly accesible more people can view and have decided this something they have been lacking just because they have had no previous experince with it before. I personally have no problem with porn and do enjoy my share, but I have always had a fasination with porn so for me to view it online was no big jump. I mean these days you have I would thing the majority of people getting on line not only to loook at porn but I believe it is on ther agenda.

I guess the internet still provides some anonymity even if a person does bare it all. They could come from a small town and no one would ever know its them. This allows them to be daring without all the risks.
I do not know. I guess I might just have to chalk this one up to "I just do not get it, but wish I knew people like that ....." I really would like to know what people who do this sort of thing get out of it ..... personal gratification.. or is just the exciment ... I guess I will continue to watch and lurk and see if I an understand ....

I guess it all depends on where you are in life. I can clearly remember many times whereby I was out and women and men just removed their clothes. Sometimes it was bad (as in what I saw last time this happened) sometimes it was good (as in what I saw many times before that)
I have friends who had naked pictures of them posted on the internet. I have friends who routinely go out and screw in public. The danger of getting caught makes it that much hotter. One of my friends has described some of his escapades and i really wonder how in the hell he didnt get arrested.
As for what makes people strip online, I really have to say its not that they are just stripping online, they probably did this in the privacy of their homes before. Its the fact that they now have a larger venue to show off their wares. If I were to post naked pictures of myself on a website that I dont think would be visited..there is the element of danger plus the pleasure of it, without worrying about the police arresting me.
Most of the women who are true amateurs who strip in front of webcams are sitting there laughing and saying oh, my g-d I cant believe I am doing this, etc. It is the perceived wrongness/danger of being seen that spurs the behavior.
I am sure many people on the board have engaged in some sexual act in a place where they know they might be discovered such as elevators, parking garages, common areas of houses/hotels, corners of clubs, in the park, etc. So its just an easy step to doing it on camera and once again, no danger of actually being arrested.

Nothing wrong with being an exhibitionist.
I never said there was anything wrong with it ... I just do not understand .... I appreciate th einsight everyone has provide and I guess I underrstand a little better ... just wish I understood more and I guess it comes down to some people just have more balls than other, and are willing to take bigger risk for the thrill ..... but seeing naked does brighten my day .....

Bare in mind that, while you see them naked on your computer screen, they're sitting naked in their own bedroom (usually). I'm sure plenty of people went around the house naked long before the internet. Yeah, it's different when you turn a camera on, but it doesn't *feel* much different.

I predict within 10 years there will be search engines that will search by image recognition as easily as we search by words now. So you'll simply take a digital pic of a prospective employee, girlfriend, boyfriend, coworker, etc and get all the archived pictures of them ever posted on the internet...

This is why for the most part you dont have your name posted in conjunction with the pics. Unless the facial recognition software will search all the pics and come up with close matches, the person is theoretically safe.

I mean it will use facial recognition and other technologies that don't exist yet. Mark my words, it will happen and there are going to be a bunch of people sorry for the stupid things they did years earlier...

Good thing I decided that this wasn't worth it (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=54560)
