attracted to the same types of people?

I've started to notice a trend in the people that catch my eye, in a manner of speaking, and they tend to be very similar. I'm sure that I'm not doing it on purpose, but still... :confused:

It's like I have my ideal of what I find attractive in a woman--a list if you will--, and while some of the elements from my list are present in their personalities, quite a few traits that they share are not on my list. Okay, I'm confused now, and I will stop jabbering...

what sucks is when the type your attracted to isn't attracted to you.
I myself have had a bad streak going for about 2 years now where i keep getting infatuated with the wrong people. Not that theres anything wrong with them but theres always some issue that i KNOW would make a relationship impossible.
