S and NSS: Paypal

I've had about $400 locked up in Paypal for almost a year now and thought I would never get it back. Yesterday, I received an email asking for my address if it had changed so they could mail me a check. I called their toll free number and told them the address was current. The rep said the info would be sent to the review department. This morning, I received an email from the review department stating a check would be mailed out and I will be receiving it in 7-10 days. Hooray!

Why was the $400 locked up in the first place? I dont understand why the hell they would just kepp $400 of your hard earned cash for a year.

Well, I did a purchase for $6000 and the guy never delivered. I just did a dispute with Citibank instead of their BS buyer protection policies and this made them very unhappy. In stead of closing my account, they left it open but unable to take out money while still being able to receive money.

Booyah. Got the check in the mail today. :)
