Of course, not everyone is depressed, but clinical depression happens 50% of women and 25% of men in their lifetime.

They gave me about 2 months of Lexapro (www.lexapro.com) on Tuesday, with the warning that it was a fairly new medicine that seemed to work better than Paxil, Zoloft, or Prozac (other anxiety and depression meds).

Have you ever taken a prescription for depression/anxiety? If so, which one?

Never had the need for an anti=depressant. However, you should realize that there are multiple uses for the drugs and not just as anti-depressants and they gave me some for this reason yesterday.
