I'm going to see Mariah Carey in concert tonight. First my cousin bails on me because she decides to go to Hong Kong and is missing 1 class. She can't go to the show tonight because she can't afford to miss her class a 2nd time.
Then, I manage to get hooked up with a blind date. We had dinner thursday night and were both looking forward to the concert. This morning, she called me...her grandmother just passed away and felt that she had family obligations to attend to (which i completely respect). But, that left me 12 hours to find someone to go with me because there's no way i'm going alone.
I guess i'll be bringing my younger cousin, which is fine. i'd rather go than not...however, i was looking forward to enjoying the show with someone who at least appreciate's Mariah's music (other cousin or the blind date).
