I've been using WinAmp for years now. Call me old school but it's been the greatest thing since sliced bread.

What do you guys out there use to listen to your mp3 collection?
What else is comparably good (or bad).

I've used MS Media Player but I can't stand it.

I usually use Music match unless I need the CPU clocks, then I use Foobar2000, which is a very simple player with very little overhead.

Winamp 2.78 FOREVER!!! I tried winamp 3 when it first came out, but I wasn't inpressed. All it did was take up more resources and look a little bit prettier. So I removed it and got my 2.78 back.

Basically the Winamp5 i'm putzing around with is winamp2 with winamp3 skins. The main difference that I've noticed is that the program is using much less CPU power than winamp3 did. Below are some screenshots. As you can tell, most of it's pretty much the same.

Same here. Unless I happen to just be testing I'll use WMP.
