I have offically decided this!!

I changed my work schedule so now I work from 6am-3pm and go to school after. Today was my first day of being at work at 6. I had to set my alarm to go off at like 4 something.
And to make it worse I couldn't fall asleep last night...
and right now, all I want to do is just put my head down on my desk and fall right asleep for another 2-3 hours, but the earliest I will be able to relax will be ATLEAST 6pm when I get home tonight.

EVIL EVIL EVIL.

NOT SLEEPING IS EVIL.

AND I AM NOT A ****ING MORNING PERSON and i don't want to listen to people complain because we aren't extending their rate lock...blah blah blah EVIL EVIL EVIL!!!

I would trade you in a second. My current job has me working 8:30 to 5:30. Not only does it ruin my morning, it ruins my evening as well. :mad:

I feel for you Pinkgirl - I am a nightowl myself. I cannot handle early mornings well even though I have conference calls at 7am on Mondays and Wednesdays(which I hate with a passion - if they could be at 8am or even better 9am I would be sooooo much happier). It's embarassing sometimes on early days when I start nodding off in meetings. I'm only 10-15 minutes' drive from work so travel time isn't much of an issue.

i'd love to work 6 to 3. it would be perfect.

actually, 5:30-2:30 would be better if i was close enough to have <15 minutes of travel time.

i'm trying to get a contract now to start next week that i'll be able to work from home on. :)

I like my job. Doesn't pay much. Not many benefits. Havent had a vacation in over a year. I have to be there til 5PM or later everyday. Yet, like me, this place has a lot of potential and sometimes suprises people. :P
I would like your hours cuz i can get ready in 15 minutes. It must be extra tuff being a female cuz of all the things you guys got to do to get ready and stuff. Youll most likely get used to it and probably even start enjoying the sunrises.

Well, I don't take long to get ready.

I use to work from 7-4...yes I know it's just an hour difference, but the difference was I wouldn't wake up until 6 and now I have to be at work at 6...and it's freakin busy that early because it's just 2 of us here and a few people in the minnosota office....

I am sure I will get use to it eventually...since it's my schedule until the end of the year, if not longer....

and I've decided coffee is the most disgusting thing in the world if it's from Peet's coffee which is what they have at my work...

Actually, since I am a lover of great coffee, someone once sent me a birthday gift of 3 types of Peets. I tried each once, then threw them away. That stuff might even be nastier than Starbucks! :hihi:

Peet's is gross!! I am feeling totally sick tonight to the point where I don't know if I can even go in tomorrow and I have a big feeling it had something to do w/ the coffee.
The funny thing is we are on one corner of Santa Monica Blvd with the worlds most gross coffee and on the other corner w/ just one building between us it starbucks....then maybe 3 blocks away is Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf...I think for now on I will just walk the extra 3 blocks...

No, it's a call center serving the eastern united states. so gotta be ready at 6am to serve them from 9am on.

Suprisingly I'm alot more awake right now then I was yesterday...
