Is anyone using Nero six? I'm having major problems trying to burn DVD's with Nero 5.5 and my dvd burner, an older pioneer. I use easy CD 5 and it works better for that drive.
SO how is nero 6? Thanks

All the opinions/reviews I've seen on the 'net say Nero 6 is bloatware and it really sucks. :hihi: A lot of people also say it crashes a lot and they're waiting for an update or two to make it stable and they're going back to Nero 5.x.

I hadn't made a coaster in like 3 years until I started using Nero6. It's only happened once, )because of the way it caches files I think), so I'm still using it. Even so, I burn A LOT of CDs, and I'm fairly happy with it-don't know how it's in any way better than Nero 5 for burning CDs though.

Used nero 6 last week to burn 50 cds and it seemed to be alright. Not sure about its DVD functionality but I havent made a coaster yet with it burning cds.

I've been using Nero to burn by dvds for almost 2 years now w/ no problem. I found burning them on udf mode for best results. I still use DVDDecrypter for burning .img's or dvd-5 though. I haven't tried 6 yet but I'm pretty sure it get same results :)

I've been using Nero 6.0.0.11 (or something like that, whatever is the latest version) and have had no problems at all....I've been burning CD-R's and DVD-R's with no coasters...I use the cheap Fry's generic CR-R's and the generic DVD-R's too.
