Do we have someone in charge of that, or is it just up in the air? I figure it may be kinda tough with school back in session for many of us... even those of us on the other side of the desk

The games page was basically abandoned due to lack of interest. Very, very few people read it.

I stopped writing on the game page due to lack of readers. It jsut wasn't getting the hits. people were reading the news out fo the forums more than the actual game page which was too bad. I really liked writing that stuff.
The argument also keeps coming up as to just how far into the gaming thing should Got/Apex get into. Just daily news bits or full blown let's give places like GameSpy a run for the money. In the end we can't compete with any game site. We don't have industry contacts. We can only review games after they come out and only if we can afford it. No budget...
Plus those of us who worked on the game page either have full time school or a full time job, hard to always have time for daily updates. I managed to keep the site updated Monday thru Friday for like 2 three months before it was starting to seem pointless to put that time in.
I do miss writing the news. It's was great fun.

You should delete it from the top of the thing then, because its tacky having it there but it goes to a 3 month old article.

Heh... ask and you shall receive. Nice job gear!
I figure it would get some hits if it was posted to every couple of days. Maybe Mr. Miller could drop it on his news like once a week (when there is something intresting going on in the gaming world)
I'm not asking for much. By that way, thanks Gear02 :D

Wheeeee. I still read the Games page. Most of the stuff I read in the forums or GameFaqs.com but the pricecut on the PS2 was new news to me.
Good job b/c I don't look at any other game sites unless it's here or linked up at Gamefaqs.

you're welcome. but blitz deserves some credit for running the games page by myself for a while :D
I'll thank him, when he posts something on the games page. at least once a week :P

Lol! Thx Gear! You da man!
Yea...the games page fell from the lack of viewers! It's not that we can't update the page every day, it's the fact that no one will view it!
I see the forum as my way of letting out any important info like the Call of Duty demo be known, so keep an eye open.
I am also thinking of hosting another Warcraft 3 (frozen throne this time) tournament! And the previous winners, if you didnt get your prize in the mail(been how long?), e-mail me again and we can get the shirts singed/mailed 4 you yet again :heh:
Hopefully the tourny might draw some attention to the Games page, and we'll start updating as time goes by.

I think its just easier if people who want game news come to the forums.
