wc3: tft tournament!

SO! From all the responses I have been receiving in my e-mail/msg boards about the G|A? Games page, we might start it up yet again!


Here we are, all wanting news delivered daily on the Games page, well read this instead. I am going to host (depending if a good amount of people show) a Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne tournament. It will only be hosted if there are more than 12 people whom will compete! So start posting if you would like to join.

No clue as to what the prizes will be this time, but I will make it some what worth your while :rolleyes: So try your best!

This is what I need from all combatants:

1. Real name
2. Warcraft B.net Call Sign/Name
3. How long you have been playing i.e. 1 month/3 years
4. How you rate your skill i.e. n00b, intermediate, gosu
5. What time and day would be best for you!

Now relating to #5, it will vary upon when I or any of the other Referee's will be open. I am expecting for it to take place on a Saturday or Sunday Night, so keep the days open. The picking of the date will vary depending on the combatants and when they will be open to play! (check this thread as it will stay updated in red)

I hope that this might renew the G|A? Game community into doing some activities and getting more active together! So start practicing and I will see you on the battle field!

You guys wanted the games page active and updated, want the game community doing things... this is your chance!

If I dont get a good response, then its just going to "stay" how it is till I get more time on my hands to do something about it!

I am not a big RTS fan, the Blizzard ones are the only ones I have played... and I have no plans on buying the expansion pack.

If you guys ever use teampeak and want to join forces in BF1942 (or Wolf or whatever), count me in.

I would be down to play this weekend, but alas, I will be preparing to leave the country. But no fear, I will be back in coupla weeks. A G|A clan would be cool. I'm definitely interested if thats gonna happen.

Well, if I'm around, and I can kick my roommate off of his comp, I'll join the tourney. I don't have my own copy of TFT, so the only way I will be able to play is on his comp.

my db2 cd key got canceled when friend did that =/ at least I have 2 sets of cd's now

wait, I think you can play TFT with an ROC cd, you just needa install it, or was I misinformed?

Heh, we'll see. Either way, I'd just be filling a spot, really. Coming out of retirement is tough business.

what?!? are you kidding me? if two people end up using the same key at the same time, Blizzard will straight up ban the key???

It will say your cd key is in use, and I believe it sends a log to blizz to investigate it...

cause I lost my cd when friend did that on db2, I kept getting that error (when he wasnt supposed to be playing it!!! smacked him for that) And next thing I know, says invalid cd key, and contacted blizz about it....they replied of course with, "cd key has been banned" for something like improper use....

A lesson for you kids:(

It's a free mod for battlefield 1942, and if you've not seen it, check it out.

get bf1942 at compusa for 20 bucks, download desert combat for free, and e-mail me......I'll send ya some servers and we can all play.

I could not ever get the helo to fly right... anyway, I think I will wait for Battlefield:Vietnam... I have the feeling control will be better and I will not have to worry about upgrading the mod with each patch.
The GI Jow and Star Wars mods are tempting... anyone play those?

Keep trying with the heli.

I couldn't keep her off the ground for a while, but once you get it down, you get hella kills, especially now that they made the weapons on the helis stonger.
