ok well i got daemon tools but now i dont know how to rip an image from a cd :(
can anyone give me a hand??

Are you trying to create an image? Or are you trying to install something?

i think he wants to set up virtual cd drives on his comp, so you don't have to swap CDs left and right.
the new version of CloneCD has virtual cd drive features too, but I don't know how it compares to Daemon tools.

is there a free program that will do the same thing as clone cd? (yes ok i could google it but i rather have something recommended by people here :)

even better, you can rip images of disks that are copy protected.

ohh, wells cool, uh i would never ever rip a disk that is copy protected, thats bad! :)

it wont rip my sat & act prep cd :( well it will rip it but it just wont work...damn you princeton review!!lol

if you're using Daemon tools, you might want to check your emulation settings. The newest/latest CDs tend to use Securom with RPMS. But it would surprise me if a princeton review cd will use that.

im using alcohol 120% for emulation...cause its just easier and it doesnt sit in the taskbar 24/7 um...ill try to rip it with rpms on...any other guesses? yea it suprised me that it didnt work too
