i need to employ the services of you goodly Got|Apexers for some music suggestions.
i need some pop-ish upbeat songs that you might hear on your local top 40 radio station. i'm talkin like, everything from that overplayed Junior Senior song to Britney Spears to Nelly, as long as it's upbeat and it's easy to move to.
please don't ask me why i need these songs...:(
suffice it to say i'm making a mix for someone, and she requested something like this so she could work out to it.
oh, and a big TIA!

Electro-pop techno. John B owns that genre so get anything by him.

I think a good bet is to check http://www.billboard.com and check the top 40 listing.

yeah, the top40 sites are good, but i was also hoping some of you could name some slightly older ones too. for example, nelly's "hot in herre" (god i hate that song) would be a good one, but you wouldn't find that on any recent top40 charts...

stereo mc- connected
cc music factory- gonna make you sweat
the theme from dr. who - which i forgot the name and the artist at the moment, but it's a song they always play at sports events. (i think it might be rock and roll #2)
