a few of my friends kept on hyping this movie up and so, i finally downloaded it :P

it was definitely a fun movie...I enjoyed myself and got me to laugh out loud a few times. =)


and she's mysteriously pretty.

it's a french movie...
i saw subtitled version.


just about a girl who has an odd upbringing changing her life.

i LOVE this movie. second best-made movie IMO to American Beauty... not one to put on at a party with your friends, but watch it alone :)

From start to end, the main character, Lester, goes from finding no joy in normal, mundane life all the way to being happy with imperfection. As the movie progresses, even though everything in his life that we'd normally care about starts to get flushed down the drain, he finds meaning in his life (bad comparison, but Office Space -- Peter finds happiness in not caring). But the ending just sends a powerful message... that movie just sent a lot of messages to me about the way life can go sometimes :)
