New motherboard, monitor problem

Just swapped in a new motherboard for the first time. System powers on, but monitor just sits there looking at me and doing nothing. What the f@*? am I doing wrong? Any ideas?

Try making sure the vid card is in all the way. Sometimes when you put in other cards after the video card the mobo flexes a little and the video card pops out slightly.
