oh my...ive seen advertising on web sites...but this is just going overboard
Thats just sad. :2far:
Long ago IGN.com used to be one of my favorite sites. The downhill began with subscriptions and then the ad situation finished it off.

Wow! Penny arcade was almost funny that time! A few more years at it and I may even break into a smile.

:heh:
I love Penny Arcade
I know I know, penny arcade is usually NOT funny, one in 50 issues will be but I thought the whole thing with them eating each other was funny. They usually haev funny ideas but they are really bad at delivery
Hmmmm... I don't see a trace of McD's anywhere on the site -- is it gonzo?

they took it down because it was probably distasteful for 9/11
it'll probably be back tomorrow since IGN sucks

i guess the backlash hurt them and so they stopped putting McD's ads.
Now we need to do something about their content :D

IGN has gotten really bad about marking their Insider content as such. They used to mark links with a little "i" logo if it was for Insiders only. Now, it doesn't seem like they do that. I've clicked on a few links this past week that have taken me to a page asking me to become an Insider, but it looked like a normal "free" link. Total let down.
