heres the deal, my roomates and I are trying to network our computer together in our apartmetn so that we only have to pay for one IP address. I know the best way to do this is probably witha router, which we are plan to get as soon as we move in. The problem is, whether or not the router will function correctly (let all of us accss the internet at the same time) if the IP is dynamic. I know it will work for static IPs, butI heard that it will not work with dynamic IPs.
Is this true? or will the router work for any type of IP?

Any suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated....

My Cable Modem service states that it is dynamic (DHCP), but everytime I check, my IP is the same. So, you can probably just input that IP as a static address.

Ok i know this is getting rediculus, but my friend Arash (4 foot persian 19 year old, small penis, bald head, and a lazy eye) is a little pissed off at me because last night he walk oin on me and his sister. I was, how should i say it....RAILING HER DOGGYSTYLE, so he is a bit angry, believe me I am not gay and in my opinion Arash has been acting weird everytime he is around my brother...go figure

It depends on several things. For instance, I have adsl that uses dynamic IP. I was able to network 10 computers using a router. Of course, this router needed to be reconfigured/flashed for the settings to work.

So did you have to do much configuration? and once you configured it it was that it, or did you have to change things once in a while, because i heard witha dynamic ip you may have to configure or setup the system many times?
