Maid of honor stuff....

So my friend is getting married in May...
Yeah that's like 7 months away, but she wants to start getting stuff done and rolling now, since she will be busy trying to find a place to live, etc...
And I am her maid of honor, I was just wondering what exactly should I do to help her?
I know about the Bridal Shower planning and Bachalorette Party...
She's been my best friend for like 6+ years and I want to make this as memorable as possible...
She mentioned the other day that the guy who is making her dress has been taking pictures of it in her fitting so she will have them.
Is there anything else I should take pictures of?
We are starting the fun hunt for bridesmaids dresses this weekend, ( which will be a LONG process because we are all picky ) should I take pictures of us all planning different things thru out the process?
And help and suggestions of anything else I should do would be extreamly helpful....

I'd say the more pictures the better. Take a camera with you everywhere you go to plan stuff. You can always throw away the pics. But if you don't, you may miss some great moments.

That's what I was thinking, I have an Advantix camera, and access to a digital, but I was thinking I am going to take the advantix for a bit, and try the black and white film that is out on it.

sit down with her and make a reminder list for her..and REMIND her to do things..
make sure the church/hall where they are getting married is reserved for them..start planning the shower..plan the place, time,date (two months before)..ask her to write out a list of who she would like invited..get a menu going..figure out some kind of cheesy games you want to play (it's a must!=including making her a bridal hat out of the bows and a paper plate)..suggest centerpieces for the tables at the wedding, help her make them or pick them out..wedding cake? did they order? if not remind them to pick out a TOPPER for it..check limo's etc etc..basic stuff..and bring that camera..you never know what you will run into.
