Older Ones:
Rise of Nations

Warcraft 3, W3 Frozen Throne

Try the Homeworld 2 Demo - I haven't had any problems with it so far (others have though so your mileage may vary). It's simply stunning when you see it. And if you like it, buy it (I am!)

If you like the D&D RPG genre and have already played through Neverwinter Nights, I've heard that The Temple of Elemental Evil is supposed to be really good.

Tron 2.0 is a blast, from start to finish. unfortunately, you'll prolly finish it in a sinle, game-addicted weekend

Homeworld 2 the actual retail release doesnt crash my system but the demo did. Its fun and the scope of the game is amazing.

I'll wait until they actually include jedi options and stop being Everquest with star wars skins :D

Homeworld 2 is bloody fun. I love just building massive fleets of ships. It has the feel of Wing Commander. Heck, this would be GOTY in my book if it had wing commander skins or star trek skins (Starfleet command 3 was average and Armada 1 and 2 were mediocre).

Ah, yes, muscular activity is a good way to kill time. Everyone should move their arms and legs at least once per four-hour period. :D
