How to remove OE in Win2k?

How do you uninstall Microsoft Outlook Express in Win2k? I tried to manually delete the directory but it wouldn't let me because of some sharing violation (There is only 1 account in the system and I'm the administrator). I also tried to use the repair from I.E. but it doesn't have any option as to remove OE.

Since I've been using Thunderbird for awhile, OE serves no purpose to me but to occupy the space. If anyone knows how to uninstall OE in Win2k, please post up. Thank you.

1) Go to Add/Remove programs
2) in the left menu, click on Add/Remove Windows Components
3) Scroll down the list and Uncheck Outlook Express

Click okay and it should remove it.
