As a Yankee fan, I don't care if they lose, so long as Boston doesnt win. I don't mind if Yankees finish last in the division so long as Boston doesn't win it either.

All Yankees fans are alike but I can't argue with that since it's a long rivalry btwn the two teams. ;)

Not me. I've always been a Yankee fan but I've always wanted the Red Sox to do well. Crazy? Blasphemous? Why? You might ask. Well what good is a rivalry unless both teams are strong. I want the Sox to beat everyone they play so when the Yanks beet them it is that much sweeter. Afterall, beating the best competition makes winning that much more satifying. And it makes the games that much better to watch.

Cool. Yanks get through the first round and both Boston and Oakland are using their aces tonight. That means the Yanks won't have to face the staff ace of their next round opponent until game three at the earliest. And considering who those staff aces are that is a very good thing.
