I used DivX 5.1, but it doesnt seem to work well for me. What do you guys use/recommend? Thanks.

no nimo isnt that good, use GordianKnot.CodecPack.1.4, works perfect with divx and xvid.

Divx codec has been good for me since their 3.xx version. What do you mean by it doesn't work well for you? Too slow? The picture quality isn't up to bar?

Since you only watch videos it's important to have all the codecs that the person who coded the video used. Nimo is a good pack, but not updated to the latest codecs. I haven't tried the Gordian one, but it seems it has the xvid codec that many people are using.
