I just got my new favorite CD: 38th Parallel's Turn The Tides. With half.com, I spent a paltry $6 to get it brand new!
Download a few of 38th Parallel's songs...I think you'll like it. I wish I could put them into a genre, but they are one of those bands that fits only between two genres: alternative rock-metal.
