I contacted the attorney at the end of the kbtoys settlement. The store is selling right now at 30% off $30.00 but they are excluding some things. His reply

"Thank you for your question.

It is true that video products are not included.

The qualifications are as follows:

Excludes Gift Cards, Video Now products, video games, systems and

accessories. Discounts taken off lowest ticketed prices at register.

Sales taxes are not valid toward the $30 purchase requirement. Not valid

toward previous purchases.

Please feel free to email any further questions."

So DRAT it anyway, there really isn't much at that store with those exclusions that is worth buying! Well, that's my opinion anyway.

for real. kb is getting off SO easy! how many people do you know that would spend $30 there on anything other than video games? and of those zero people, how many are connected and know about the lawsuit? probably about 10% of those zero. now if video games were included... i'd be all up ons. what a bummer.

geez....Way to find a topic to put on the table....
How about this...
I went to KB yesterday and scored $30 worth of toys for my childs birthday (to go along with the mega bucks I have already spent) and go out for $21 bucks or so...She will be thrilled with more Wiggles toys, and I got out cheaper than Toys R Us....Hmm...Nothing for me but I can't complain....
I would have bought the Xbox if it wasn't excluded, guess I'll have to wait for the price to drop now that Gamecube has made the move..

If only Legos were as cool (and by cool I mean Bionicle didn't exist, in addition to all the specialty pieces) as they were back in the day, I would break down and relive my childhood at 30% off the outrageous price of plastic blocks!

The only thing I can see worth spending $30 on at KB would be to start a collection of board games if you didn't have any, since those are easily 15-20 apiece these days :hmm:

I went to kbtoys today. Scoped out the store last week and wrote down what I wanted to get at 30% off and guess what? The items don't exist anymore. No empty shelf space or anything. The old tried and true GI Joe is there but not the newer toys worth getting. Many people walking in and out with nothing in their hands. Looks like KB will be donating a lot to charity!
