wow!!! i turned off the TV when Barber intercepted Manning's pass and the Buc's were leading by 3 touchdowns with 6 minutes left in the 4th.

who wouldve thunk it that the Colts would come back AND WIN?!? thats one crazy comeback...

i think Manning's just stole the title of Captain Comeback from former Colts QB Jim Harbaugh

Dang. I turned on Monster House because I thought the Bucs had the game in the bag. Sounds like I missed a great ending! :(

that had to be the most exciting game i've ever watched. cept maybe the indiana-duke game in the ncaa final four a couple of years ago.

Yeah....it was a great comeback. Too bad it was marred by the fact that a HORRIBLE call was made.

:stupid:

Horrible horrible call at the end. Leaping? What BS is that? But yes a great game.

bad call? his actions were in clear violation of the rules.

is it a stupid rule? probably.

do i care? NOPE!

The call wasn't clear at the end and that changed the game. The Colts deserved to win though because they played harder at the end. The Bucs slacked off and got burned. You can't really blame the loss on one call when you blew a 21 points lead in the last 6 minutes.

Yep, you can't blame it on the call. God helps those who help themselves. If the Bucs had won it on any of the tons of other opportunities they had to win it that call wouldn't have mattered. It was still one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen. Almost as good as the 2nd half Jets-Dolphins game on monday night 2 years ago.

Not as good as the second half of the UCLA game :)

On the radio an annoucer watching the game got too excited. The Ball brothers who lpay for UCLA both got the the QB at the same time and he shouted "It's a two ball sack!!"

i'll bet. you downtown? they'll prolly hold a ticker-tape parade.

i've been a colts fan for a long time and this has to be one of the biggest wins i've ever watched. they usually drop the big ones.

remember the part where Pittman was just juking defenders, and Al Michaels was like "He changes directions more than Arianna Huffington!"

i thought that was amusing... specially coming from Al, of all people :heh:

I saw this thread last night while the game was still on (time delayed here in Hawaii), and didn't think anything about it because I don't really care much about either team. I happened to flip through the channels and saw that the Bucs were up 28-7 at the beginning of the 4th quarter and thought, "WTF has Cheapbast@rd been smoking?" So I watched the third quarter KNOWING that the Colts were going to win and it was still awesome. Definitely worth the price of admission (except for those fans that left early to beat traffic...hehe).

 wasn't it crazy? one cool part was when vanderjagt was kicking the 1st field goal, there was a colts fan in the background that thought it was good. he stood up and started cheering and then sat down when he missed it. then got back up again when they got another chance.

after that spectacular game, I have a lot more respect for manning. Even though the call was questionable, I think the colts deserved that win. 21 points in four minutes is an awesome display of the two minute drill at work.

btw it sucks to be those fans that left early.

that rule is as stupid as the rule that gave the patriots the win over the raiders.

Gruden got screwed twice on stupid rules in the nfl :P

Like I said before, you can't blame loss on one call when you were leading by 21 points with less than 6 minutes left in the game. The Bucs had their chances to put the Colts away for good but didn't do it so it came back and haunted them.

wait you can't get a running start and then jump to block a kick? how the heck are you suppose do to it then? run up to that spot, stop, and then jump? that's the first time i've heard of that rule, and i have to say, it sounds stupid to me. can anybody explain the logic to me? personally, i think being allowed to boost a teammate up would add an interesting flavor to punts and place kicks, but for goodness sake they should allow leaping. leaping lemurs... leap leap leap...

you have to jump from the line. kicking long field goals is hard enough as it is. if you had guys taking off from 5-10 yards back, it'd virtually impossible to make the field goals that require a low trajectory.
