Good Grief. My Outlook has been acting up. It opens ok, and then shows my new messages with no problems. However, when I click on one, it freezes up and doesn't do anything for forever. Also, if I click on another window, I can't restore Outlook for a minute or so. Anyhow, I've called our helpdesk and requested, ummm, help. Well, we only have a couple of local people that are dedicated support now. (There's about 500 of us in our office.) They've outsourced a lot of the support to a group in Quebec. They are freakin' useless in troubleshooting stuff. They are nice enough, but they can't troubleshoot hardly anything! And it takes an act of God to get our local guys to come down and help.

So, here I am, making good money, dicking around waiting for my effing Outlook to work. I hope they saved a lot of money by outsourcing because I'm wasting a lot of it!

outsourcing's a freakin yotch...

I really hope that they never outsource at my company cuz having it in house makes life so much better (although the 24 hour guys suck...). During the day, it's never a problem.
