Where can I find all the little differences in features between these two versions of word? I've scoured Microsoft.com with no avail.
can someone help?
the EULA, differing amounts of money...

Well this might help a little, I just exported the "What's New" secton of Word 2002's help into a PDF (http://members.cox.net/~seqiro/wordxp.pdf). So you'll need Adobe Reader.
Not exactly a comparison, but maybe you'll get something useful out of it.

Thanks. I've got an end user who wants to know where all these different features went and won't let me close the ticket until I do so. Of course, she doesn't refer to them with the same terminology as microsoft, so it's hard to use the help file to figure it out. The strangest thing is...she was the one who demanded the damned update.

open word xp, go to help, then click on answer wizard then type in "What's New" and it will tell you all the new features in word xp
also tell the idiot to buy the idiots guide to word xp

She's saying that features that were in Word 2000 are gone now? Seems unlikely. Maybe she just needs to check if "Always show full menus" is checked so she can SEE all of the options. ;)

The features are probably still there just located in a different area or called something completly different.
