BattleNet is down half the times. IT is down as I write this. IF it is not down it is lagging and kicks you out of the game at times. I am disappointed in Blizzard for this.

The same happened to me during beta testing for the servers, I guess they never debugged anything. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

alright, so i got an "attempted delivery tag" on my doorknob on thursday which said that fedex would return on friday after 3pm for a second attempt. so, i left work early so that i would be home by 3 (made it there by 2:45). however, when i got there, there was another slip hanging on the door!! they had attempted delivery at 2:30!!! GRRRRRR!!! so.... i checked the tracking number and saw that it was back at a fed ex station - but the station was in downtown cincinnati and not the one in the suburbs like i had gone to before. so i drive downtown in rushhour traffic, find the fedex station, but there is no where to park. no where. sure i could have parked in the garage and paid $5 to park and then walk 2 blocks, but i was burning a short fuse and was too pissed, so i went home. now my package won't be here until monday!! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif

Wouldn't it be possible to call FedEx up and have them attempt delivery to your neighbor who can sign and hold the package for you? You can easily check if the neighbor has the package or not via tracking code at the FedEx website so that you don't have to annoy the neighbor everyday with a "Anything arrive for me?" query.

well, i would do that (or even have it left at my house under the steps or something), but i live in cincinnati in the ghetto (not totally a ghetto, but it's not a pleasant neighborhood. the only neighbors i have are across the street, and they are not friendly at all. there is a foreign car repair shop to the left, and the back of an outdoors store to the right. no such luck. i did finally get the package on monday though!! i'm already a level 11 necromancer and i haven't been playing all that much.

I always thought fed-ex left things at the doorstep. A friend had a dvd player and a sound system left on his doorstep a few months ago.

you can opt to have fed-ex leave things at your doorstep by signing a release form (which removes fed-ex from any legal obligation if your package is stolen), but as i said before, i wouldn't even consider leaving my package sit anywhere around my house for even 10 minutes. it's amazing what people will steal to buy drugs or malt liquor!
