is this worth paying $15/month extra in addition to my plan? I think it is, but try to make me think otherwise... I'm already paying $60/month for the voice plan. Enjoy the pics, there's not much there yet but I like taking random pictures :)

$15/month extra? Dang dude...

I should have my Nokia 3650 early this week - can't wait! The phone is free after rebate with a plan of $39.99 - and only $2.99/month to be able to send/share pictures with T-Mobile... :hmm:

it's $15/month to be able to send receive pics, it also gives me unlimited internet to browse pages, download stuff, and check/send email. The best thing though, I can connect it to the laptop and i can browse the internet @ 112kbps.

I'm in the same boat with a Samsung V205 phone but I don't know if I'm going to spend another $2.99/month or not. The $9.99 gives unlimited use though. I should have gotten the Nokia 6610 (free + $85 MIR) instead of this phone ($30 after rebate).

Which phone do you have?

I haven't unloaded any but one of mine from the phone yet, but at 640x480, the one i did get was decent, ehhhh

If you figure out the cost per KB and how much data you might use, when I figured it, it came out to a little over $10 a month extra without Vision (save $5 each month), which I alotted for downloaded ringers, photos, and games that I'd download in the future :)

both my wife and i have the unlimited web/pictures on sprint service with sanyo 8100 phones. our plan includes it for free, i would never pay extra for it. i just don't use it enough. the thing that i use the most is taking pictures of people for their caller id, which i don't need the service for.

the first month i had it i used it a lot, but then the novelty wore off.

although, it can be fun when i'm out of town for a while and the wife sends pictures to show, umm, just how much she misses me :naughty:

and obby...I pay my bill :P

I paid too much for my Samsung A620/VGA 1000 --

Retail $299
At Costco $249
At Costco with coupon $200
At Costco with coupon 1 year agreement rebate $150
At Costco with coupon 1 year agreement rebate which I didn't fill out $200

:heh:

But if you think about how much you'd spend on a digital camera or anything else, spending an extra $50-$100 more than the basic model can make sense sometimes. I took the hit myself ;)

Anyone know if Sprint (or their phone providers) plan to introduce Bluetooth phones in the next year? With all the traveling I do, I want to use my phone as a modem for my PocketPC or laptop, and Sprint doesn't have any at the moment!

You can connect your phone to your laptop and surf the net? But how does that affect your minutes? I mean are you charged by the minute for net use just as you would for talk time? Forgive my ignorance...

Forgive my ignorance... T-mobile has UNLIMITED T-Zone usage, which can be used to surf the web on a laptop via bluetooth. It pretty much rules for only $9.99/mo! :D

Well that sucks. I was looking at coverage and in the drop down box they listed 42 states, none of which included NC.... Wierd...

on verizon, you can set it up so web minutes take away from your regular minutes. then when night and weekend rolls around... unlimited surfing!

No wonder.... I looked at the coverage map and NC is nothing but digital roaming area.... Sucks, oh well...

EXACTLY -- Verizon and Sprint were the only 2 I could get (living in 3 different cities), and I chose Sprint because my whole family has it for PCS to PCS and Vision.

I've been in innumerable situations since i got my phone that a cellie connection would have been great to have (business trips, power outages during the hurricane, etc.)
