im guessing this is the right board for this topic..
so do you wear an undershirt (all types- ashirts, vshirts, etc.)
and as always, include your reasons why. :king:

Depends on the [regular] shirt. With T-shirts, of course not. With polo shirts, again no. With button-up collared shirts, yes. Typically a white V-neck shirt, although a crew-neck is nice sometimes. If you don't wear an undershirt with that type of shirt, people at a bad angle might see into the shirt between the buttons and that's just awkward. Plus it makes white collared shirts less translucent, and helps keep any sweat contained.

i'll wear undershirts unless i'm wearing a reagular shirt. mostly cause my pits like to sweat and it'd be unsightly if i didn't wear an undershirt as a buffer...

No, I don't. I don't feel as comfortable if I'm layered up. Too bulky. Plus it slows me donw if I need to get naked fast. :hihi:

I guess in Los angeles, it seems like its always too hot for an undershirt.
The only time i ever wore one was when i go hot air ballooning and its like 28 degrees. (in new mexico) Then i wear a long sleeve shirt under a short sleeve under a wind breaker... and when the sun pops up and starts warming i strip down.. hmm although i can understand the desire to be able to undress fast...
You should try it flying at 2000 feet its quite a rush. ;)
I wear regular white crew neck t's underneath most days. I think it's just habit... grab boxers and a white t and head to the shower in the morning, then decide what to wear

"wife-beaters"
'nuff said.
:P
I always wear an undershirt. If it's white it's probably used as a undershirt. In fact the only time I don't wear an undershirt is when I'm going to the beach or some shizzle.

I've always went by the belief that a white dress shirt without an undershirt allowed someone to see your nipples and that this was inappropriate. For this reason I always wear an undershirt when I wear a white dress shirt. On really hot days I wear dark or striped dress shirts that are not translucent and then I won't wear an undershirt. That works here in the SFBA because we don't get a whole lot of hot days here throughout the year.

I like to wear undershirts, mostly black wife beaters, but sometimes a regular Hanes T is in order. It's good for weather that changes, and it also can be comfortable with an itchy shirt. :D
