Can't really say I'm a football fan. I kind of think it epitomizes everything that is bad about our society...Random acts of violence punctuated by committee meetings.

i am more of a college football fan than the NFL. although i like to see Jeremy Shockey strut his stuff.

usually i am just routing for the University closest to me.

i'm hoping yankees beat the redsox..keep curse alive, marlins beat the yankees, and then yankees spend even more money next year. Heck yankees should sign tejada, vlad, and javier vazquez...make their salary over 200 million...maybe then MLB and players union will actually do something about it

Yeah, like happily collect more union dues. Seriously, the union loves the Yankees. I don't see them signing Tejada or Vazquez, but Vlad, now he would help our outfield. And remember the Yanks payroll is set to go down quite a bit next year with Clemens retiring ($15 mil) Yeah, he'll need to be replaced but whomever it is will free up some money.

baseball should care... the marlins have a terrible fan base, and i wont be suprised if this is series has the worst ratings ever. There is no interest in the florida marlins. The damn people from florida don't even care about them. Terrible world series, and you can guarantee that i wont watch a game.. and i could care less who wins or loses.

Oh well, at least I can stop watching baseball now. Grady Little should have some sense knocked into him. How can you possibly leave a tiring pitcher in and wait until after he gives up the lead to replace him?

I bet the execs at Fox are crying right now. They were sooooo close to a ratings bonanza, now they'll have a series which probably won't be rated very high.

The starting pitching might be a little tired after that war, and Mo too, but you gotta like the Yanks chances against the Marlins.

It has been a couple of years since the Yanks have wom a championship. Hopefully the drought ends this year.

Anyone hear who the game 1 starters will be? I'm a little worried as the Yanks had Andy pitch on Wed. Roger, Moose, and Wells in last nights game and Mo going three innings. Who does that leave for Sat? Conteras maybe? And would Mo be available for an inning?

Damn Red Sox left us in shambles.

How sweet it is. Boston is getting exactly what it deserves for being a dirty city filled with crude people and nothing to do. I've never been to a dirtier or ruder city. And for a city that large there was nothing to do. Except go to bars and get blitzed, which I can't blame Red Sox fans from doing now anyway.

Damn Canta... but atleast Boston had cheers and doesn't have 747s full of terrorist flying at them. Boston has nothing over New York in suckiness if the worst things to happen to Boston are not getting in the WS and CHeers being cancelled so long ago. sheesh New York is the target of Terrorist from around the world. That's bad... now New York had that boat crash or something too... they deserve a WS win just so they can feel good about something.
