Steve Vai is great, and G3 is cool, and I'm sure what they're doing in this pic sounds cool, but it just looks wrong. Mostly from the expression on Tony McAlpine's face.

G3 is just a collection of wanker virtuosos engaging in guitar masturbation (That's an official musical term for soloing for the purpose of showing off your technical ability, while paying no attention to songcraft or development of a musical theme)

So I'd caption this pic as "The WankFest '03 Climax"
